The Mamiraua Reserve:
The Mamiraua Sustainable Development Reserve is the first unit of conservation. This category is implemented in Brazil. The Mamiraua Sustainable Development Reserve is located in the Amazon Region known as the Middle Solimoes, at the confluence of the rivers Japura and Solimoes, in the State of Amazonas in northern Brazil.
