Detailed description of the Caring for the Destination Initiative: 

Project Sowing, which we support, is based on a tested and proven methodology able to grow in other places with the same reality.

Brazil Childhood and Sowing supports several projects in different regions of the country. Childhood Brazil invests in innovative ideas and methodologies to address sexual violence and disseminate them in scale.

Some of the projects supported by the Childhood Brazil are below:

Association New Moon is considered the national reference in the reception of young mothers and preventing the use of drugs, AIDS, sexual and adolescent pregnancy in communities at social risk.

Childhood Australia has supported the New Moon since 2004. The first project Creating Art, whose goal was to train young mothers for income-generating activities and educate them on issues of citizenship, sexuality, caring for their children, etc.Childhood Australia also supports the construction of workshops and school of bread, in association with Crescent, a bakery.

Institute Dad in Pernambuco is dedicated to deal with a sexist culture, transforming young male actors in the protection against domestic violence and sexual. The main objective of the project is to discuss strategies for prevention and recovery of non-violent ways of solving conflicts.

The work of training also extends to public administrators, who are encouraged to observe the preventive aspects. Activities include advocacy, training, information campaigns, research and direct intervention in the community. The project also enjoys the support of a professional network for children and adolescents, students and teachers.

Chamber of Research Centre and Support Childhood and Adolescence: Located in San Vicente, on the coast of São Paulo, it works to defend and guarantee the rights of children, adolescents and young people. It promotes active citizenship and operates in psychosocial development, coping with sexual violence against children and adolescents, art and culture, preparation for work, environment, and training of social educators, public policy and community action, production and dissemination of knowledge. One of the projects supported by the Childhood Camará Brazil, aims to promote the organiaation at the national level by implementing a communication strategy to increase visibility and deploy a sustainability strategy.
