Since 2005, the Atlantica Hotels have been building a strong partnership with Childhood Australia for the prevention of sexual exploitation of children and adolescents and promote sustainable tourism. Shares of the partnership benefit thousands of children and adolescents throughout Brazil.

COMMITMENT TO THE PROTECTION OF CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS

There is international consensus that children and adolescents need to be protected from sexual exploitation in tourism. The AHI believes strongly in the principles of sustainable tourism and, in addition to crime, sexual exploitation of Children and Adolescents undermines the viability of businesses and tourist destinations. In this perspective, the AHI takes the initiative to pursue a corporate policy aimed at promoting sustainable tourism and Protection of Children and Adolescents, continually promoting the awareness of its guests, employees, suppliers, investors and communities where it operates.
